student creative groups are operated by the HSE Centre for Creative Production and Cultural Programmes.
Students can take voice lessons or sing in the Force Majeure choir, study acting at a drama group, compete on a KVN team, and dance at Sona Ovsepyan’s Dance Workshop or at the StarDance ballroom dancing club. They can take guitar lessons or go to an art school, as well as join a club for fans of board games or a literary association. Lessons are held by professional teachers.
Students in creative groups take part in internal and citywide HSE events, as well as in festivals and different levels of competitions.

HSE’s Courtyard Became a Piece of Art
On May 28th, 2015, the festival of children’s and youth art, ‘We Draw the World on the Pavement’, took place in Strogino. The participants spent four hours turning the 162-sq.m. area in front of the HSE MIEM building into a canvas united by the themes of peace, joy and spring.

Winners of Faculty of Design Competition Announced
The design competition held by HSE’s Faculty of Design has concluded. The competition is a supplementary test necessary for admission into the Faculty’s bachelor’s programme. Applicants’ work was evaluated by a selection committee consisting of well-known designers, including those from the Faculty itself and specialists invited to participate on the committee.
