Agreement on Cooperation in Software Engineering
In early November the Higher School of Economics and the Eindhoven University of Technology (Netherlands) signed a partnership agreement.
The Memorandum of Understanding involves the academic exchange of students and teachers, scholarships and joint scientific research. More specifically, as part of the agreement we plan to launch a joint master’s programme in System and Programme Engineering in September 2011. The new master’s programme will have two specializations: Software Development Management and Program Engineering Methods and Theory. After successfully completing their first year, students of the latter will continue their education at the partner university, and upon graduation will receive two diplomas: HSE Master’s Degree and Eindhoven University of Technology Master of Science in Computer Science and Engineering degree.
The agreement was signed by Sergey Avdoshin, Head of the HSE School of Software Engineering, and Arjeh Cohen, Dean of the Eindhoven University of Technology Department of Mathematics and Computer Science.
